The Circle of the Storms are those that chase the storms, become one with the destructive wrath of nature, and channel the lightning to smite their foes. These druids can also find peace in the eye of the storm and relish in the calm before and the serenity after. Will you answer the call of the storm?
This subclass is designed for all settings.
Starting at 3rd level, you learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown in the Circle Spells table. The spells count as Druid spells for you, but don’t count against the number of Druid spells you know.

When you choose this circle, you gain resistance to Lightning or Thunder damage as the power of the storms flows through your veins. you gain resistance to the other damage type at 9th level.
Additionally, when you choose this circle, as an action, you can choose to expend a Wildshape charge to become as calm as the Eye of the Storm. You have advantage on saving throws against being Charmed or Frightened, as well as advantage on saves to end these effects.
Starting at 6th level, your spells bring cold winds with them, slowing down your enemies. When a creature of your choice fails a saving throw against one of your spells, its speed is reduced by 10 feet until the start of your next turn.
The speed reduction is increased at certain levels, becoming 15ft at 11th, and 20ft at 17th.
Starting at 10th level, your spells emit blasts of lightning at nearby creatures. Whenever you cast a spell that deals Lightning, Thunder, or AD Lightning damage, or manipulates air, you can send a lightning bolt at a creature of your choice within 60ft of the affected area of the spell. The creature takes a number of d8s equal to your Wisdom modifier in Lightning or Thunder damage (your choice).
You can do this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per day.
Starting at 14th level, you embody the storms to a terrifying degree. You can cast Storm of Vengeance once every 7 days.
When you reach 17th level in this class, you can cast this spell once every day without expending a spell slot. It is also automatically prepared for you.
