Linguistic drift and multiculturalism has led to the development of new slang, commonly used by those on the streets.

Bend (Verb) - To steal (an object)

Bent (Adjective) - (of an object) Stolen

Black Hat (Noun) - A member of a criminal organization

Bunk (Adjective) - False, Untrue

Charged (Adjective) - Armed with a firearm

Coffin Varnish (Noun) - Bootleg, typically poisonous, alcohol

Fried (Verb) - (of a person) To have been shot

Hayburner (Noun) - A losing racehorse; Alternatively, someone who frequently smokes, or an automobile with poor charge mileage.

Hound (As in booze-hound, smut-hound, etc.) (Noun) - Fond of a thing

Jackleg (Adjective) - an underhanded or unscrupulous person (Especially a lawyer)

Jagamaree (Noun) - Something for which there is no other name, or whose name is momentarily forgotten. A fanciful contrivance. See also Whozimawhatsit, Whatchamacallit, Helephino, Doohickey, and Thingamajig

Kettle of Fish (Noun) - (Ironically) A difficult or annoying situation

On Vacation in Baldur’s Gate (Adjective) - (euphemistically) Dead (Typically murdered)

On Vacation in the Moonshae Isles (Adjective) - (euphemistically) Dead (Typically of natural causes)

Penny Dreadful (Noun) - A cheap, sensationalized newspaper

Showstopper (Noun) - A large, powerful or impressive weapon

Skosh (Noun) - (From Waan) A little bit

Upside (Noun) - A quick, dirty, or illegal scheme to make money

Wacky Stacks (Noun) - Counterfeit money

Zhenty (Adjective) - (of a person or operation) Suspicious
